Welcome to CSP
|
The fact that you are looking at this website and considering becoming a surrogate mother is proof that you are a very special, caring and sensitive person. You already know that raising a child is one of the special joys of life. Unfortunately, nearly one out of five couples is denied this experience because of problems beyond the control of the medical profession. This is where you and the Center for Surrogate Parenting, Inc., can help. CSP is a world-renowned surrogate parenting program located in California and Maryland. Our two locations enable CSP to work with surrogate mothers from most states. CSP was established because we strongly believe that all couples who are ready and willing to take on the responsibility of parenthood deserve that opportunity. Unlike adoption, surrogate parenting allows a child to be biologically related to one or both of the intended parents. Most important of all it also allows the surrogate mother to share the wonder and joy of her pregnancy with the couple she is helping. Video | Order
A surrogate mother has the opportunity to be pregnant again, as well as the chance to do something that will make a difference to the lives of a couple. A difference that will last beyond all our lifetimes."Seeing the couple's face light up when their baby was born, I know I gave someone such a precious gift of a lifetime. The mom is always telling me I'm her guardian angel. I hope other surrogates accomplish the same satisfaction I did." Laura B. CSP has been matching surrogate mothers and couples, for over years! No agency has the experience that we have earned. CSP supports gay parenting for those gay couples in long term, committed relationships. We worked with our first gay couple in 1989 and have since helped many gay couples become parents. Helping a gay couple can be a very special and rewarding experience for a surrogate mother. CSP provides coordination of all aspects of the surrogacy arrangement. Our goal is to provide care, protection and guidance to our surrogate mothers throughout the experience. This includes having a counselor assigned to your case during and after your participation in the program, and providing monthly support group meetings where you will meet with other surrogate mothers. You will have an experienced counselor available to you and your family 24 hours a day at no extra charge to either you or your couple"Not only is it CSP's policy, it is our desire that you have the best experience possible during this wonderful journey.", Karen Synesiou, Director CSP offers an "open" program in which you choose your couple. You are not simply matched with the next couple that retains our services. We have couples waiting for surrogate mothers. Therefore, you will get to choose from a selection of various couples. We are here to guide you in what is the best match for you, however, it is you that makes the selection. In most cases, you will also meet the couple prior to determining if this is the couple you would like to work with. The surrogate mother has the opportunity of finding out in person about the couple's history, their infertility problem, if they have any children, if they would like more than one child, their likes and dislikes, their personality, etc. All match meetings between our surrogate mothers and couples are hosted by an experienced counselor in our program.
Couples and surrogate mothers are in contact with one another throughout the pregnancy, and we encourage contact after birth with pictures, letters, etc. We pride ourselves on the ability to help our surrogate mothers choose the best couple for her. In fact, many of our "matches" become friends for life.
We hope you enjoy our website and find it informative. We are extremely proud of the work we do and we appreciate your interest in our program. We look forward to being given the opportunity to work with you to help a couple realize their dream of parenting.
