Walking Through The Process of Surrogacy
Whether you are an intended parent or a hopeful surrogate mother, it is helpful to know what the entire process of surrogacy will look like from start to finish. At CSP, Inc., we will help you every step of the way and want you to know exactly what to expect.

Surrogate Mothers

The first step to becoming a surrogate is submitting an application. We look at many different factors to ensure you are ready to begin the process. You will then have a consultation with members of our staff over the phone where you can ask any questions you may have. We will look at your insurance, criminal background, and DMV report to be absolutely sure you will be a good fit as a surrogate.

You will then be screened by a fertility doctor at no cost to you. These first steps in the process take around 1 to 3 months. Then we begin the matching process and actual medical procedures. You will be able to look at intended parents' profiles and choose the ones you want to pursue. This timing can vary as well, but we expect it to take at least another few months before the pregnancy.

Intended Parents

The first step we suggest for intended parents is to request an information packet so you know exactly what to expect from the whole process. You will then have a consultation, either by Skype or in person, to discuss the legal, psychological and financial aspects of surrogacy.

Once you are ready to move on, we will assist you in matching with a surrogate by helping you create a profile that surrogate mothers will see. You will never be paired with a surrogate if you both don't feel completely comfortable. The initial process is expected to take several months before the actual pregnancy.

After the pregnancy and birth of your child, it is completely up to you whether you want to continue a relationship with your surrogate. We are here to help and guide you through the complicated process of surrogacy. CSP brings 36 years of experience and support to every intended parent.
