Maybe you know how to build a website or operate heavy machinery, but you probably have no idea how to soothe a crying baby yet. Fortunately, you’ll learn quickly what works and what doesn’t. In fact, you’ll probably learn lots of new things over the next 18+ years.
2. You’ll Be a Good Parent
It’s easy to envision what it will be like to be a parent. We all think our kids will always be well behaved, easy to soothe, and easy to love. Unfortunately, everybody has bad parenting moments. You just have to learn to forgive yourself and move on. You’re going to be a great parent.
3. Your Life Will Be Different
There is no way around it, when you’re a parent, everything will be different. But that’s not a bad thing at all. In fact, being a parent can help you relive your own childhood. It will make you playful. You’ll also appreciate the simpler things in life, such as watching a butterfly or making silly faces for your baby.
4. You’ll Know Your Child Best
The good news is that you know your child best. When it comes to your child’s health, happiness, and well-being, you are going to be the expert for a very long time. That’s why we think it’s important to trust your instincts and listen to your intuition.
5. You’ll Experience Unconditional Love
