Making dreams come true.

Surrogacy is a life-changing journey for everyone involved. CSP partners with healthy women who are already raising children of their own to help other hopeful parents fulfill their dream of taking home a healthy baby. We provide the insight, understanding, planning and support to make those dreams come true.

What is gestational surrogacy?

Gestational surrogacy is the process of carrying and delivering a baby for another couple or individual. You will not be biologically related to the child.

To facilitate a successful pregnancy, a fertility doctor transfers an embryo created through IVF (in vitro fertilization) to your uterus through a simple procedure.

This embryo may have been created using an egg and/or sperm from one or more intended parents, or it may have been created with the help of an egg, sperm or embryo donor.

Helping people become parents who can't have children on their own.

Our agency assists hopeful parents who have a medical reason for needing a surrogate. Our program is open to both men and women; people who are single, partnered or married; and U.S. citizens and people from all over the world. Our surrogates know that the couple or individual they match with cannot have a biological child without their help.

CSP is the first choice for surrogates because our surrogates choose first.

Once surrogates clear the screening process, they get to review and choose multiple IPs who feel like a fit. They review parents' stories and get a sense of their why. Because discovering shared values and common interests goes a long way to forging friendships and alignment, which makes all the difference.

Experience matters

If you feel called to be a surrogate, you've given this idea a lot of thought and consideration. Rest assured, so have we. No one has been facilitating surrogacy journeys longer than CSP. Founded in 1980, the Center for Surrogate Parenting has been a leading surrogacy program for over 40 years.

Compensation

Becoming a surrogate is one of the most generous things a woman can do, and we make sure that you have the resources you need to take care of your own family. While various factors affect compensation, our surrogate base pay starts at $50,000, and may reach up to $68,000, plus reimbursement of expenses incurred during your journey, including medical insurance (if needed), IVF medications and embryo transfer. You may also receive additional income if you require a C-section or become pregnant with twins.

What it takes to become a surrogate.

CSP puts surrogates' health and safety first. Every woman who wants to become a surrogate must meet some basic requirements.

Have a BMI of 31 or less
Must not smoke
Be between the ages of 21 and 41
Have at least one child you are raising
If receiving government assistance, have another source of income
Must be free of medications for anxiety or depression for at least one year under a doctor's guidance

If you can check off every item on this short list, we invite you to apply with CSP today.

Our experienced team will thoughtfully review your application and let you know if you are eligible to meet with one of our specialists and begin our medical and psychological screening process.

Once you're approved, you'll be ready to move ahead with making someone else’s dream of parenthood come true.

There's no need to go it alone.

The medical, financial and emotional risks of surrogacy are too significant to go it alone. And fending for yourself on social media can be hit and miss with harmful consequences. We know the way because we've been there tens of thousands of times before. And yet no two journeys are exactly alike. So let our experts guide the way.

Supporting surrogates across the US.

All of our surrogates come from the US and we've assembled a nationwide team of specialists. These experts include case managers, counselors, and attorneys, to support your journey and your choice of intended parents. In addition, we can recommend trusted physicians and clinics in communities across the country.

Keeping in contact.

Carrying a child for someone else is such a compassionate and selfless act, and often surrogates and IPs develop a special bond that can last a lifetime. If both parties are interested in nurturing this kind of relationship post-pregnancy, we provide extensive support and facilitate healthy communication for both surrogates and parents.
