Daniel Madero, Director, Third-Party Services

Daniel Madero serves as director of Ovation’s third-party service lines, including Ovation Donor Services and the Center for Surrogate Parenting. He is inspired daily by witnessing the positive changes in families’ lives that come from accessible, affordable reproductive technology and the generosity of gamete donors and gestational carriers.

Madero joined Ovation in August 2021, bringing a lifetime of experience working in fertility care. The son of a fertility care pioneer and a surgeon, Madero’s early career in the medical field began as an operational leader within his parents’ fertility care practice, then expanded into leadership roles with other fertility care practices and businesses in his home country of Colombia and around the world.

Madero came to Ovation after co-founding and leading U.S.-based fertility preservation and genetic testing companies that provided a wide range of services to IVF specialists and other medical professionals. Precision: Personalized Medicine partnered with genetic testing labs across six different countries, offering exams and services to top-tier hospitals in Colombia. He also co-founded and led Legacy, a male fertility startup offering at-home kits for fertility testing and preservation.

Madero has also served as an independent consultant and advisor to fertility and technology companies, sharing his expertise with venture-capital-backed startups in the United States and Latin America.

Earlier in his career, he served as general manager and partner of the largest fertility clinic in Colombia, Clinica Eugin, based in Bogotá. In this role, he managed a team of 20 physicians, nurses and administrative personnel, and created an effective structure for andrology and reproductive biology lab operations.

Fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in French, Madero holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.
